Dr. Matt Brodhead, BCBA-D, LBA
Executive Consultant

Over the past 15 years, Dr. Matt Brodhead has established multiple school-based programs for children with autism, and he has provided training to teachers, related service providers, and behavior analysts nationally and internationally. He also specializes in program evaluation for both ABA and public school placements for individuals with autism.

Dr. Brodhead is a highly sought-after speaker and presenter. He is internationally known for his engaging and informative speaking and presentation style. He has been invited to share his expertise at world-renowned conferences and meetings, including the 2019 Association for Behavior Analysis International Autism Conference in San Francisco, California. Just recently, Dr. Brodhead gave the Keynote Address to the 2019 New York State Association for Behavior Analysis annual conference.

In addition to Dr. Brodhead’s direct work with individuals with autism, their educators, and providers, he is the author of Practical Ethics for Effective Treatment of Autism Spectrum Disorder. He has also published over 40 peer-reviewed articles, along with a number of book chapters and commentaries, in the areas of autism, social skill development, functional behavior assessment, and ethics and ABA. He is on, or has served on, the editorial boards of multiple behavior-analytic journals, including the Journal of Applied Behavior Analysis, Behavior Analysis in Practice, and The Analysis of Verbal Behavior. He is recognized within the academic community as a leader in the area of ABA treatments for autism and as one of the foremost experts in the areas of ethics and professionalism in the practice of ABA.

Dr. Brodhead received his M.A. in Behavior Analysis from Western Michigan University, and his PhD in Disability Disciplines from Utah State University. Dr. Brodhead is a BCBA-D (Board Certified Behavior Analyst-Doctoral), and he is also a licensed behavior analyst in the State of Michigan.
